Biography

Kris Jacque is a 2007 graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Computer Science). Despite having spent four years studying in a very technical field that baffles her friends and alarms her family, she still enjoys participating in the arts -- namely drawing and painting, since she could never carry a tune to save her life (though, as you know if you've ever ridden in a car with her, this has never stopped her from trying). Almost everyone who knew her before she went to college, including herself, assumed she would grow up to be a professional artist. Imagine her surprise when she caught herself enjoying the wild mathematical and theoretical aspects of computer science!

She currently lives in Colorado with two cats and a pit bull terrier.

Kris is rumored to have either grown up in a pile of puppies or been raised by several tiny ponies. Naturally, she loves animals. She also enjoys animated cartoons, comic books, ancient and medieval history, Latin, cameras and photography, nice crisp new paper (especially in fancy notebooks), that old book smell, antique Soviet junk, pre-1940s phonographs and other vintage mechanical gadgets, cool muscle cars, Apple computers, video games, movies of all stripes, and really interesting puzzles.
