Finished Art: October 2009 Archives
Envisioned as a 6-8" vinyl bank. Instead of being slotted, the hole in the back of the mouth would be oval to allow coins to slip through. The head is hinged so when in the normal position, the money couldn't fall out. When you tip the head back, the throat hole lines up with the hollow body and the coins fall through.

Some alternate color schemes:
6" x 9" acrylic painting. It is fan art for the new movie Where the Wild Things Are, which I have been excited about basically since I heard a year or two ago that, at test screenings, some parents thought it was too scary for their kids.
It was painted pretty quick to get it done in time for a contest.
EDIT: A print of this painting is now available on my Etsy site. If the first one sells quick, I'll put up a larger quantity.
