This particular Gargoyle Magazine cover was kind of a rush job, but I still like it.

Part of the efforts to raise donations for victims of Hurricane Katrina by offering commissions in exchange for charitable donations. In this case the person requested an image of an otter, so I drew the first otter I thought of: Philippe from Achewood. Wearing a straw hat and holding fish for some reason I do not remember.
2004. Ink and digital.

2003. Acrylic on wooden table.
I wish I had some better photographs of this one. It was done in my last year of high school art class specifically as a piece to auction for the benefit of a local PBS station. The painting actually wraps all the way around the table and there's a little landscape underneath. I used to lay under tables as a small child, and I often wished the undersides of tables looked as nice as the tops.
2001. Ink on paper.
Gollum from Lord of the Rings and the One Ring.
