In this case the person requested an image of an otter, so I drew the first otter I thought of: Philippe from Achewood. Wearing a straw hat and holding fish for some reason I do not remember.

An old one I still like. These were characters I intended to do something with at some point, but I just never got around to it.

I wish I had some better photographs of this one. It was done in my last year of high school art class specifically as a piece to auction for the benefit of a local PBS station. The painting actually wraps all the way around the table and there's a little landscape underneath. I used to lay under tables as a small child, and I often wished the undersides of tables looked as nice as the tops.
